About The Book |
The idea of book and sequencing and editing led me to filmmaking. While professionally immersed in film, I have often found myself returning to still photography, drawing inspiration from the motion studies of Muybridge, and often printing the images I captured in the order that they were taken. |
This led me back to bookmaking. The book is not concerned with what is placed on the page, but how to speak between the pictures. A book is more than the sum of its parts. A book you hold in your hand. |
The wind-spout gathered itself into a prancing horse; hence the old bedouin name for a horse, 'Drinker of the Wind.' |
About the Book: This is collection of new images & myths inspired by the Arabian Horse and including landscapes from the misty mountains south of Half Moon Bay, California. |
