About The Book
The idea of book and sequencing and editing led me to filmmaking. While professionally immersed in film, I have often found myself returning to still photography, drawing inspiration from the motion studies of Muybridge, and often printing the images I captured in the order that they were taken.
This led me back to bookmaking. The book is not concerned with what is placed on the page, but how to speak between the pictures. A book is more than the sum of its parts. A book you hold in your hand.
The wind-spout gathered itself into a prancing horse; hence the old bedouin name for a horse, 'Drinker of the Wind.'
About the Book: This is collection of new images & myths inspired by the Arabian Horse and including landscapes from the misty mountains south of Half Moon Bay, California.
